About Us
Our History
Formerly known as Tift Healthcare, Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia was originally built by Dr. H. Gordon Davis, Jr. as a 62-bed skilled nursing facility. Today, Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia hosts 178 beds and has been providing an array of professional healthcare services and amenities for over 50 years to meet the needs and desires of our residents and customers. Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia is honored to be a part of such a thriving healthcare community in "the friendly city"! By embracing growth and change, our facility is able to work with other healthcare providers to obtain new education, services, and technological advancements that better allows our staff to meet the needs and desires of our residents.
Our goal is to maximize the quality of each individual's life by valuing dignity, independence, and individual needs. We strive to promote an atmosphere of wellness and healing for each individual by providing a homelike, comfortable environment. Rehabilitation Center of South Georgia offers a full range of healthcare services including short-term rehabilitation, rehabilitative and restorative services, long-term care, palliative/ respite care, and specialized memory care.
